Workshop : Potting wild plants and flowers-August 8th, 2012 @ 1:00PM
Looking for something fun to do in a cool place?
Would you like to feel brisk breeze under the shade of trees?
Come join us to make your own potted plants with bamboo and Japanese wild plants & flowers on August 8th at 1:00PM at Ecoplaza (Minato-ku).
Inviting landscape architect of Japanese garden, Yasushi Sakai as our instructor, we will learn not only how to make potted plants but also the same philosophy for making Japanese garden embedded in the work of small pot, expressing the traditional spirit of living in harmony with nature and being a part of the ecological system.
Before sophisticated talk over Japanese gardening, move your hands and feel the nature!!! Borrowing from the nature and taking small part of it home, you can enjoy how plants and flowers change as the season changes to autumn from summer.
It’ll be a perfect opportunity for kids to get homework done for summer. Simply a fun experience to play with soil and grow plants not only for kids but also for adults. Ecoplaza also provides cozy, down-to-earth, relaxing environment for learning and just being on one of these hottest days of Japanese Summer.
